2009 Environmental/Adirondack Studies Residency
Registration for the 2009 residency will open on June 2, 2009.

 Students on the field study The theme for the 2009 Environmental/Adirondack Studies Residency is "The Nature of Nature: Revelations and Responses." The program features a three (or four)-day interdisciplinary residency at Raquette Lake, with students and faculty from all over New York state. During the September 2009 enrollment period (June 2 through September 11), students select a single 4-credit residency course (and perhaps also a 2-credit pre-residency course) for guided independent study in the fall term. Over the three days, plenary sessions focus on the residency theme and related topics and small group seminars focus on the guided independent study. *For Empire State College matriculated students only.
