    netLibrary provides searchable access to thousands of full-text online books (E-Books) in a wide range of topics. E-Books are usually electronic versions of printed books or reference works, and contain the same text as their print counterparts. Up to four titles can be "checked out" at a time for a set period of time (most have either a 4 or 24 hour loan period).


STEPS TO ACCESS NETLIBRARY:

***Read these instructions fully BEFORE attempting access - you need TWO separate passwords.
  1. Login with your MyESC college login and password using the link below (if you do not know your login: http://www.esc.edu/MyESC)
  2. Create a free netLibrary account (click on "Create a Free Account here" link on right side)
  3. Type in a username and password and fill in the required contact information;
  4. Click "Create Account" button.
  5. Start your search using the search boxes provided.
*Users who already have a netLibrary account can skip steps 2-4 and login directly using the link below (you still need to login twice)

Forgot your netLibrary password?: use the "Forgot username or password?" link next to the Log in button on the first netLibrary page and follow the on-screen instructions.


NETLIBRARY FAQ:
  • How many E-Books can be checked out at a time?
    Up to four at a time may be checked out for full-text access.
  • How long can I access the E-Books?
    The "check out" period can vary by title. Most loan periods are set for 4 or 24 hours. E-Books are checked back in automatically for you once the loan period expires.
  • Do I need any special software to view content?
    No. Access works through your web browser. Just make sure you have an up-to-date version.
  • What happens when a title is "not available"?
    If the NetLibrary system displays a message indicating that all copies are in use, you are given the option to view the Table of Contents, and to be notified by email when a copy of the title becomes available.
  • Can I print or copy text from an E-Book?
    Yes. However, due to copyright restrictions, you are limited to copying small selections or printing single pages of any title, the same as with print material.
