Labor Studies at a Distance

LABOR STUDIES

Labor studies courses are available for distance learning through the world wide web. Students work with a mentor on the web, by phone, e-mail and/or post as they complete assignments. Students have the convenience of studying at home or work without the necessity of attending classes or making meetings. Web courses offer the special advantage of allowing the students to interact with other students in the course as well as the mentor.

Labor studies distance-learning courses are useful to union members and leaders, human resource representatives, managers and anyone interested in labor/management relations in both the public and private sectors. Courses are carefully prepared and raise key issues important to professional labor/management responsibilities in both private and public employment. Students can earn an associate or bachelor's degree in labor studies entirely at a distance. Currently enrolled students live not only throughout the United States but Europe and Asia as well.

You can locate current offerings in Labor Studies in the Center for Distance Learning Course Catalog. Return to navigation links
