What is the Human Services Learning Community?

The Human Services Learning Community is:

  • an opportunity to study face-to-face with other students in human services, three Saturdays per term.
  • an opportunity to network with other community and human services professionals.
  • an opportunity to network with other community and human services professionals.
  • a place to hear from guest speakers about careers in human services, internship opportunities, and other topical issues of interest to human services students.

Starting in the May 2010 term there will be a modest fee ($30 for the May terms and $45 for the September/January terms) associated with registering for studies at the Human Services Learning Community. Students may use their financial aid to cover the fee. You will only be charged the fee once per term, even if you are taking more than one HSLC study per term.
