**When our nation's security alert is elevated to orange, there is no access to the campus via B Gate or C Gate. The 107 entrance is the only access to Trainor House. Directions to Trainor House via 106/107 **

B-GATE
Via Long Island Expressway EASTBOUND

LIE Eastbound to Exit 39 (Glen Cove Road). Stay on the LIE service road for about 3 miles until you reach the light at Powell's Lane. Make a left and go over the overpass. Make another left onto the service road and quickly get into the right lane. The sign for B-Gate is right there. Make a right turn past the arch and follow the road about 1/4 mile directly into the Trainor House parking lot.

B-GATE
Via Long Island Expressway WESTBOUND

LIE Westbound to Exit 40E (Syosset). Stay on the service road, go through light across Jericho Turnpike to second light. Continue through second light bearing right so that you remain on the service road. Stay on the service road. You will see a large white sign that says State University at New York C-Gate. Do not turn here!! Continue about 1/4 of a mile.There is a light at the intersection of Powell's Rd. and the service road of the LIE. and you will see a while sign that says State University of New York, B-Gate shortly after the light. Make a right here and go past the arch. Follow the road about 1/4 mile directly into the Trainor House parking lot.

TRAIN

Take the LIRR to either the Hicksville or Westbury train station. A taxi from the station is the only means of transportation to the college.

HAUPPAUGE

The Hauppauge Unit is located in the New York State Office Building, Room 1A11, 250 Veteran's Memorial Highway (Route 347), Hauppauge, NY 11788.

Via Northern State Parkway Eastbound:

1. Travel east on the Northern State Parkway to the end where
it merges with Veterans Memorial Highway (Rts 347/454).
2. Continue on Veterans Memorial Highway, go past the Dennison Building and make a right turn when you see the sign for the Perry B. Duryea, Jr. State Office Building.

Via Long Island Expressway Westbound:

1. Take Exit 57 and turn right onto the Veteran's Memorial Highway (Route 454).
2. Continue North on Route 454 (past Route 111) to where Route 454 merges with Route 347.
3. There is a sign for the New York State Office Building on the left on the center island of Route 347 but it is easy to miss.
4. Make a left turn into the New York State Office Building driveway and park in the big lot on your right.

1. The New York State Office Building is served by a number of Suffolk County Transit bus routes.

1. The Empire State College office is in 1A11, directly across from the main entrance

1. Take Exit 72 east onto Route 25 East.
2. Follow Route 25 for about three miles.
3. Route 25 becomes Main Street.
4. As you enter Riverhead town Route 25 forks at the Riverhead library. Take the left fork which is Court Street about 2 blocks and you will see the building on the left on the corner of Griffing and Court. Enter the parking lot behind the building and use the entrance facing the parking lot.

1. From anywhere on the North Fork, take Route 25 westbound.
2. At the junction with County Route 58 at Riverhead, take the left fork and stay on Route 25, which becomes Main Street.
3. Take Main Street through town to Griffing Ave. and make a right turn. Go to the first left hand turn which is Court St. It is the first building on the right. Turn into the parking lot behind the building and use the entrance facing the parking lot.

1. From anywhere on the South Fork, take Route 27 westbound past the Shinnecock Canal bridge to Route 24 North.
2. Take Route 24 to the Riverhead traffic circle, make the first right onto Peconic Avenue, go to the traffic light at Main Street and make a left hand turn and then a right hand turn on to Griffing Ave. at the first traffic.
3. Go to the first left hand turn which is Court St. It is the first building on the right. Turn into the parking lot behind the building and use the entrance facing the parking lot.
