DIRECTIONS TO TRAINOR HOUSE RTES. 106/107

RT 107 Entrance
Via Long Island Expressway EASTBOUND or WESTBOUND

Take Interstate 495, the Long Island Expressway, to exit Exit 41, Routes 106/107, taking the northbound route. At the split of 106/107, take the left fork onto Route 107. Stay in the left lane for about three-quarters of a mile until you come to the entrance to the College of Old Westbury on the left. You will be on the entrance road to the campus. Trainor House is about 3 miles from the main entrance. Just beyond the point where the entrance road merges with the regular campus road (about a half of a mile), you will make an immediate left, which will turn into a U-turn. You need to be going the other way. Just beyond, after you make the U-turn, bear right. The sign says to 495. You will pass one stop sign. Continue up the hill to the next left. At that point, there will be a sign that points left to Empire State College. There will also be a sign which says "Do not enter. Gate closed," but ignore it. Go left.

You will quickly come upon an "S" turn with two stop signs. Just keep following the road until you see a large brick building up ahead of you on a rise overlooking a meadow. That is Empire State College. Continue to follow the road which takes you to the driveway to the building, on either side of which are two brick posts with a sign saying Empire State College.

Via Northern State Parkway EASTBOUND or WESTBOUND

Take the Northern State to Exit 35N, Routes 106/107. Then follow directions above.
