DVC Learning Style Survey
=====================================================
This web site features a Learning Style Survey that can be completed
online to determine the learning styles of people in your organization.
In addition to the survey, there is information about learning strategies
that can help individuals work and study in a productive manner, one that
matches their style of learning and thinking. It can be very valuable to
have employees understand the existence of learning styles, including not
only their own, but those of other people, so as to work more effectively
both on their own and in collaboration with others.

Prior Learning Experience at ESC
=====================================================
Empire State College is committed to the idea that people deserve credit
for
college-level learning no matter how it was acquired. Many people have
developed
learning outside of the traditional classroom and this knowledge is
as valuable as
knowledge gained through more formal learning situations. Students
who enroll at Empire State College programs, including the new MBA program,
can get credit for prior learning in a number of areas, including workshop
certificates and professional licenses as well as learning based
upon experience supervising a staff, engaging in business communication
and more.
