Here's How it Works
Our noncredit instructor-supported courses begin the third Wednesday of every month. Each course runs for eight weeks, consists of 12 lessons with two new lessons released each week, and is available 24 hours, seven days a week. Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials and online discussion areas supplement the lessons, while course materials are available over the World Wide Web. Students receive lessons and can e-mail questions and comments to instructors and classmates at any time.
You'll be able to access new lessons each Wednesday and Friday using your web browser. In addition, you will be able to view and print reports that show your progress as you proceed through the course. At the conclusion of a course, once you've met all the course requirements, you will be provided with an online letter of completion that you can download and print. Empire State College will also mail you a Certificate of Achievement. In order to receive this certificate, all coursework must be completed within 10 days after the posting of the final exam.
To register for the instructor-supported courses, please go to http://www.ed2go.com/esccwa to view our list of general topic areas. After choosing a topic area, select a course to see descriptions, requirements, instructor profile, start dates and link to the course registration form. Upon completion of this form you will receive e-mail instructions with a link to our secure online verification/payment form. Here you will be asked to enter your name, address, e-mail address, course name, number and start date, and your preferred method of payment.
Tuition for most instructor-supported courses is $99 per course.
You may pay online by credit card, print the form and fax it with your credit card number or print the form and mail it with your check, which ever works best or is easiest for you!
