SUNY Empire State College follows the ACE/CLEP recommended minimum score for awarding credit. The college has developed further recommendations for the areas of foreign language and for Human Growth and Development, which are indicated in the chart.

The scores on this chart represent CLEP examinations taken since July 1, 2001, unless otherwise indicated. If you have taken a CLEP examination before July 1, 2001, or the effective date listed, contact your center's Office of Academic Review or mentor for required scores and available credit.
