Instructions for Getting Your Password
Accessing College Business Pages
Note: Prior to registering, you must complete online orientation and consult your academic advisor.
If you have previously done any business with the college online (i.e. entered an admissions application, entered a prospective student inquiry or requested a financial aid form) you may already have a code in the system. We suggest that everyone go to http://www.esc.edu/MyESC and follow the steps to activate a login and password automatically.
If you are not yet in the system, you will get a notification and a suggestion to contact the help desk (fill out a form online). This form will check out against other records in the system to make sure we are creating a unique individual, so we suggest you complete the unrequired fields such as SS# or birthdate. Any records that are not automatically matched are reviewed every business day at noon, so it may take a business day to complete this process. We urge you to begin this process as soon as possible, as courses fill up quickly and you need the password to register online. If you wait until the last week of registration, you will most probably need to use the FAX to register, which makes your choices much more limited and delayed as they must be data entered and checked.
Your Password for Online Courses
Use your Empire State College user name and password for Registration and access to your records. If you have never activated your login, go to http://www.esc.edu/MyESC to do so.
