Valeri ChukhlominValeri Chukhlomin is an Area Coordinator of business, management and economics with Empire State College, Center for Distance Learning (CDL). He holds a PhD in Economics and International Political Economy from the USSR Academy of Sciences (1986), a  /MS in Mathematical Economics from Novosibirsk University (1982) and a postgraduate certificate in Business Administration from Southern Cross University (2005). He has been an Associate Professor and Founding Dean at the School of International Business at Omsk University, Russia. Additionally, he has held numerous marketing management positions including Vice-Rector, Commercial, Marketing and International at Omsk University and Managing Director at the New York Institute of Business Pacific Division (Sydney, Australia). He is Fellow of Australian Institute of Management and a Certified Practicing Marketer, Australia Institute of Marketing. He teaches International Business, International Cross-Cultural Management, International Political Economy. His research interests include international services marketing, international marketing of higher education, cross-cultural conflict management in international channels of distribution, international political economy.

 

Linzi KempLinzi J Kemp Ph.D. , Manchester Metropolitan University; M.B.A., Brunel University; B.Ed. (Business), University of Huddersfield; Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing; Higher National Certificate (Business), British Technical Education Council. Linzi is Faculty Associate/Academic Area Coordinator (Business Management Economics) with Empire State College, Center for Distance Learning (CDL). This role involves leadership in areas of student retention, and the coordination of a business program. She teaches and mentors students within CDL and the Center for International Programs in the Lebanon and Dominican Republic. Previous experience as an educator has been in schools, colleges and universities in the areas of management; organizational theory and behavior; marketing. In Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Linzi taught, and was professional development coordinator. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, she coordinated the information technology curriculum at a Junior High School. At a teacher training college in the People's Republic of China, she was involved with training teachers to teach English. Originally from the UK, Linzi has worked there in private and public organizations within the fields of education, retail and the health service.

 

Nazik RoufaielNazik Roufaiel Ph.D. is an Area Coordinator and mentor of Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Economics at Empire State College, Center for Distance Learning (CDL). She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and Information Systems, MS in Accounting and Information Theory, BS in Business Administration with accounting major from Cairo University, Egypt. Nazik was the top student of her graduate and undergraduate class. In addition, she holds various professional licenses/certificates such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified in Financial Management (CFM), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Nazik has over twenty-five years of teaching, research, services and advising experiences at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She taught various courses in business fields such as areas of strategic management, operations management, financial management, marketing, cognitive science, information systems, decision support science, taxes and accounting. She has her small business and management consultation practice. Nazik is an active member of many national and international professional organizations and productive scholar in the areas of international joint ventures, global ethics, forensic investigation, adult education, e-learning, lean manufacturing, total quality management, e-commerce, operational performance measurement, cost management, tax planning for international business strategies, and management and finance of not-for-profit organizations. Previous experience included teaching at: American University in Cairo, Cornell University, Marist College, Ithaca College, and Michigan Tech University (Area Coordinator), and working as electronic data-processing auditor and financial analyst in Wall Street. Nazik received numerous outstanding teacher awards and was listed in Marquis Who's Who: in the Best American Teachers nominated by students.
