Orders Using Financial Aid, VESID and Third Party

Financial Aid

Book orders cannot be processed using financial aid until enrollment is entered on the Empire State College system, and financial aid approval for awarded financial aid in excess of the cost of tuition and fees has been given to the bookstore by the student financial services office. Enrollment for less than 6 credits will cause a reduction or elimination of financial aid.

In order to receive your books without delay, you may order on-line or submit a signed promissory note. Click here for form. These options are only for students who have applied for financial aid for the current term, and the funds are either available, or are pending.

Or payment can be made by check, money order or credit card. Reimbursement will be made to you by the business office when your financial aid becomes available.

VESID

Book orders must be accompanied by a VESID (Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Students with Disabilities) voucher or voucher from the Third Party source showing the dollar amount that will be covered for educational materials. Book orders will not be shipped without receipt of voucher or letter of intent from VESID or third party office.

NEW STARTING FALL 2009 TERM: If you have available Finanacial Aid for the current term, per VESID, your books will be charged against your Financial Aid before any charges are placed against your VESID account. Thus, even though you have a VESID voucher, it is possible that all of your books will be charged against your Financial Aid account instead of your VESID account.
