Profile
Justin A. Giordano’s background and areas of expertise encompass law, business/economic policy and the music/entertainment industry. He is an attorney at law licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey & Connecticut. He is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States; The Court of the Armed Forces; United States Court of Federal Claims; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
He has been a regularly selected invitee to the annual International Radio and Television Society’s Faculty/Industry Residencies/Seminars over the past 10-plus years. He is also a long-standing member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences [NARAS] and is an accomplished composer, performer, and producer.
He is also an Academic Visitor at Oxford University, United Kingdom.
Giordano publishes on a regular basis [over 70 articles/essays, etc. over the past few years] on issues pertaining to the law and society in a variety of forums, including scholarly publications such as Law Review and professional journals aimed at the legal profession and related audiences such as members of the judiciary, legislature, as well as the public at large. He is the featured Op-Ed writer for the monthly Suffolk Lawyer, which has a circulation of approximately 5,000 readers monthly, as well as for the Queens Bar Bulletin. In addition he publishes frequently in general interest publications, writing on a variety of subjects that are connected with his various areas of interest and expertise, targeted at the broader readership and population.
He regularly attends, participates in, and has lectured and presented in various forums including academic and professional conferences pertaining to the fields of law, business/economic policy and the music industry, as well having been a visiting professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law teaching International Law and Entertainment & Media Law. He was recently named a 2007-2008 Empire State College Scholar Across the College and is active in college governance
Giordano received his Juris Doctor from Touro College School of Law, Huntington, New York; his M.B.A. in finance from St. John’s University, Jamaica, New York and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada
