Profile

Linzi J Kemp has worked internationally as an educator in schools, colleges and universities, with expertise in the areas of management; organizational theory and behavior and marketing. Originally from the United Kingdom, Kemp has worked in private and public organizations within the fields of education, retail and the health service. In Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Kemp was both a teacher a professional development coordinator. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, she coordinated the information technology curriculum at a junior high school. At a teacher training college in the People's Republic of China, she was involved with training teachers to teach English.

Kemp earned her Ph.D. from Manchester Metropolitan University; her M.B.A. from Brunel University; and her B.Ed. (business), University of Huddersfield. She also has a diploma in marketing, from the Chartered Institute of Marketing; and a Higher National Certificate in business, from the British Technical Education Council.

Kemp is with Empire State College’s Center for Distance Learning (CDL), where she has a leadership role in student retention, professional development, and the coordination of a business program. She teaches and mentors students within CDL and the Center for International Programs in the Lebanon and Dominican Republic.
