Profile
Val Chukhlomin is an intercultural educator, consultant and corporate trainer. He has extensive experience in the field of management and marketing of higher education in Australia, the Baltic States, Central Asia, China, Russia, and the United States. In particular, he has served as International Programs director, department chair, dean and vice-president for international relations in a major public university of Omsk in Russia. He is currently associated with SUNY Empire State College, in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he is an academic area coordinator of Business, Management and Economics with the Center for Distance Learning.
Val Chukhlomin has consulted major Russian banks, oil and energy companies in the field of services marketing and human resource management. He is currently consulting American, Australian, Lithuanian, Russian educational institutions on the subject of international program development, international e-learning and educational technology, business education and training.
Dr. Chukhlomin holds a Specialist (combined B.S and M.S) degree in mathematical economics from a leading research University of Novosibirsk in Russia, a postgraduate certificate in business administration from Southern Cross University in Australia, and a Ph.D. in Economics and International Political Economy from the USSR Academy of Sciences. He is Fellow in Australian Institute of Management and a Certified Practicing Marketer in Australia Marketing Institute. His biography was included in Marquis Who is Who in the World and Who is Who in American Education in 1998-2007.
