Enrollment Sequence For M.A. In Business and Policy Studies

MASTER OF ARTS PROGRAM IN BUSINESS AND POLICY STUDIES

The following is the typical enrollment sequence for business and policy studies students*. This program is open only to currently enrolled students. New students are no longer being admitted to this program. The Business and Policy Studies program admitted its last class in the spring 2007 term. Students who enrolled during or before this term may complete this program. The availability of courses and resources is guaranteed through 2011.

Business and Policy Studies Students who have not completed their program by 2011 may request special permission to continue. Any request will be reviewed on an individual basis and the review will be based upon the currency, coherency and academic integrity of the student's program.


Second term:
8 credits = Policy Studies II: Government, Business and International Perspectives (BUS-610502) & Economics for Decision Makers and the Policy Environment (ECO-610508)

Third term:
7 credits = 1 required management course (RMC)** & 1 elective & Foundations of Research Design (BUS-610558)

Fourth term:
8 credits = 2 electives & Modes of Inquiry/Directed Research (RAM-610590)

Fifth term:
5 credits = Final Project (BUS-610595)

Total 36 credits

* = the graduate fall and spring terms are 15 weeks long and the summer term is 8 weeks long. Therefore, students enrolling during the summer term may need to work with their mentor to adjust this enrollment sequence.
