THESSALONIKI PROGRAM

In 2001, the city of Thessaloniki became the second location in Greece for Empire State College’s Center for International Programs. As in the Athens Program, students study at New York College in Thessaloniki or other regional institutions for two years before transferring to the Empire State College program to complete their bachelor’s degree. This is also a classroom-based program, with instruction provided by local faculty. The program serves 160 students, more than 50 of which are Empire State College matriculants.

Empire State College has responsibility for helping the host institution to develop the lower division section of the curriculum. A faculty team provides annual visits where it offers academic counseling to students, as well as faculty and curriculum development services with the local faculty.

Concentrations are offered in: Business Administration; Communication; Computer Science; Finance; Information Systems; International Relations; Marketing; and Psychology.

Program Director: Dr. Evelyn Wells
