Instructional Services Group:
The Instructional Services group is charged with helping faculty select, evaluate, and use educational technology tools and electronic resources to enhance student learning. The staff is comprised of:
Instructional Technologists:
* Professionals with degrees in instructional design, pedagogy and/or educational technology.
* Support all modes of learning at Empire State College.
* Work with faculty to apply learning strategies that use technology to enhance student learning.
* Provide one-to-one consultation.
Librarians:
* Professionals with masters degrees in library and information science.
* Help faculty and students navigate and use an increasingly complex set of electronic resources.
* Assist with designing learning activities that develop student Information Literacy skills. |
