Empire State College has a 5-term academic calendar. Please keep in mind that all application materials must be received by the priority date to guarantee a timely review of your application. We strongly recommend that you apply as soon as possible. The more lead time you provide, the more likely you are to be enrolled at the time you specify on the application. These priority dates refer to review of application materials and not to enrollment. Enrollment is based upon space availability in the location of choice.
We continue to admit accepted students whose applications have become complete after the priority date, as long as there is space available in the location of choice. If space is not available the applicant will automatically be eligible to enroll in the next available term.

International students interested in coming to the US to study with Empire State College must obtain an I-20 and apply for a student visa.
