FORUM EMPLOYEE PARTNERSHIPS

Developing Your High Potential Managers:
For more than 15 years, FORUM has helped companies link opens in new window develop their high potential managers by providing access to a superior management education program and a SUNY degree designed specifically for adults in the workplace.

Options for management education abound: certificate programs, seminars and conferences. Many provide good information in targeted subject areas, but are not designed to view the theory and practice of management from a broader perspective. Traditional business programs teach functional courses as if students will all choose to specialize in that function. FORUM is distinctly different. The curriculum meets the particular needs of managers who have acquired significant experience in one or more functions of business, and who now need to broaden their understanding of how they fit into the organization, how the organization fits into the larger environment, and how the ultimate performance of the organization follows from the integration of its employees, systems and strategies.

FORUM provides your high potential managers with:

  • a SUNY degree in a management-related area;
  • faculty who possess academic credentials and real-world business expertise;
  • relevant management education, designed to be immediately applicable;
  • corporate seminar-style weekend residencies;
  • credit for prior college-level learning acquired in the workplace;
  • the flexibility of guided independent study - managers spend the majority of their time studying when and where it is convenient, traveling only six times yearly to weekend residencies; and
  • outstanding personal support, from enrollment through graduation.

FORUM's corporate liaisons are available to meet with you and your high potential managers to discuss your organization's needs for management development, to further explore the full range of services available through FORUM. To set up an onsite information session contact the FORUM corporate liaison in your area.
