As a graduate student you take courses online, attend periodic small group seminars, have individual meetings with faculty, and attend occasional weekend residencies.
You can choose from several programs leading to a master’s degree.
You may transfer no more than 9 credits at the graduate level with a grade of B or better, and no more than seven years old at the time of your admission to the college. Any previous college credits must be appropriate for your graduate degree program at Empire State College.
For most of our graduate programs you have the opportunity to shape your graduate degree. You choose from a range of elective graduate courses, or work with your faculty mentor to design individualized electives for your degree program that meet your specific needs.
