If you are interested in taking courses with Empire State College, State University of New York, without pursuing a degree, you may choose to enroll in credit-bearing courses (space and resources permitted) as a “nonmatriculated” student.

Nondegree courses may not be applicable to an Empire State College degree.

Financial aid is usually not available for nondegree study.
