Activate Your College Login
Please activate your college login right away, so that you have access to important systems/services. You do this by going to MyESC and clicking "Activate My Login" just above the Announcements box.
The online orientation provides important information about registration, books, etc.
Please follow these three easy steps to the online orientation:
- Please visit www.esc.edu/moodle and enter your college login and password.
- Look for the blue menu bar and position your cursor on "My Courses" to find "New Graduate Student Orientation" and click this link.
- Begin the orientation with "Student Moodle Tutorial."
M.A. Liberal Studies (MALS) Orientations
In addition to the general School for Graduate Studies online orientation listed above, MALS has an online orientation. You can access the MALS orientation information at Choosing and Preparing for Your MALS Courses.
Register online for the spring term through 5 p.m. on Jan. 5 via the Register tab on MyESC. Late registration is available from 9 a.m. on Jan. 8 through 5 p.m. on Jan. 12.
The text list for each course is available through the college bookstore via the Online Ordering link. Once you select Grad from the drop-down list, you will be brought to a page where you will need to enter your course number (e.g. SOC-620501), so be certain to have this number(s) handy. The text list provided by the bookstore contains all of the text information, as well as the college's price.
The residency will be held Feb. 15 - 17, at 113 West Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. Residency attendance is required for students enrolled in a residency-based course in the M.A. in Work and Labor Policy, Liberal Studies and Social and Public Policy programs. Term Start Date
The term will begin on Jan. 16 but most of the courses will open one week prior to the start of the term. The complete term calendar is available at Graduate Calendars.
