Welcome to the Hudson Valley Region
SUNY Empire State College’s Hudson Valley region enrolls 1,200 students annually in three locations serving nine counties. The beautiful Hudson Valley — a huge canyon formed by the powerful flow of the Hudson River — is home to almost 6,000 of our alumni, many of whom are leaders in education, finance and the arts.
Our faculty mentors work with each undergraduate pursuing a degree, from registration through graduation, helping him or her develop a program plan that best supports individual needs and interests.
There are a variety of ways to learn and engage with the college, including independent learning, online and group study, as well residency opportunities in business, human services and literature and, beginning with the September term, three study groups at the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center in the Bronx. The Hudson Valley location of the college also hosts an annual career day in Newburgh for students; employers will be invited to the 2013 session.
In today’s economy, a college credential is an important and necessary asset to move ahead. All of us in the Hudson Valley look forward to working with you to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
