ANGEL System Upgrade Completed; Minor Problems Reported
The Office of Integrated Technologies has successfully completed the system upgrade of ANGEL from version 7.4 to 8.0. Plans originally called for the system to be down between 8 a.m. E.S.T Aug. 2 through noon on Aug. 4. The system was reopened shortly after 10 a.m. E.S.T. on Friday morning -- 26 hours prior to the anticipated restoration time. As of Monday Aug. 6
OIT has reported a few minor problems, including some associated with the Chrome browser, that need to be resolved by the vendor.
Note to ANGEL Users: Most other problems can be fixed by clearing the browser cache. Instructions for how to clear your cache are available in the Knowledgebase in the Tech Info website.
