SUNY Empire State College’s Long Island region serves more than 2,000 students annually in three locations. Our region, known for high-tech companies, extensive health care facilities and rich natural resources, is home to more than 7,000 alumni.

Our faculty mentors work individually with each student, from enrollment through graduation. Mentors help undergraduate students develop degree program plans that best support their individual needs and interests. Degrees are offered in more than a dozen general areas of study, within which students can select a traditional concentration, such as accounting, management, human services or criminal justice, or individualize a program plan such as disability studies, adolescent development or disaster studies.

There are a variety of ways for students to learn and engage with the college, including guided independent study, study groups, residencies or online classes.

All of us on Long Island look forward to working with you to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
