Academic Skills Workshops
ESC regional centers and the Center for Distance Learning offer free workshops, both onsite and online. The workshops cover a range of academic skills, including Time Management, Writing College Papers, Paraphrasing and Summarizing, Using Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism, Basics of Microsoft Word, etc.

The @Home library and research skills workshops are offered online in real time by the College librarians via a web conferencing system. Workshops cover topics such as Introduction to Searching, Choosing the Best Research Materials, Working with Books and E-Books, Citing Your Sources and Using Refworks.
