Onsite and Online Writing Support at the Northeast Center
Learning Coaches
Learning coaches provide academic support to students in all areas of the writing process. They work with students onsite and online over the phone or via the Internet. Learning coaches can also assist students with study skills strategies including time management, organization, reading efficiency, developing a study plan, goal setting, critical thinking, library research skills, note-taking and learning styles.
We offer a wide range of free workshops as well.

Sarah Spence-Staulters is located in Latham working onsite with Schenectady, Troy and Latham/Albany students.
She can also work with any Northeast Center student regardless of location over the phone or via the Internet.

Dr. Lisa D'Adamo-Weinstein is the director of academic support. She is located primarily in Latham and works with students at all locations of the Northeast Center.
She is the primary contact for students studying in the Plattsburgh office.
