Women in Photography
A Workshop with Women Photographers
This four-week workshop will offer you the opportunity to become acquainted
with the work of a number of professional women photographers. It will provide
an exellent opportunity for those who are interested in working in the field
to meet professionals and discuss issues pertaining to women. The workshop also
gives members of the general public the opportunity to become more aware of
the contributions women have made to photography.
You will be able to gain experience doing projects under the guidance of experienced photographers/teachers and may work with the Triage Project, which has been documenting New York City's crises over many years. The work will culminate in an exhibit. Interships are also available.
