James Lytle, College Council chair, is a partner in the law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips and oversees the firm's Albany office. His practice focuses on health-care law and regulations. He served in the Gov. Mario Cuomo administration as assistant counsel for health and human services. Lytle holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
Anthony Esposito is former chairman of the Capital District Transportation Authority. Previously, he served for nearly 15 years as the president of Capital Cablevision. He received his Bachelor of Science from Fordham University, his Master of Arts from New York University and his Ph.D. from New York University.
G. Angela Henry was for many years a search firm consultant specializing in institutions of higher education and a senior administrator in nonprofit organizations focused on education, women, children and human rights. Her current work involves narrating documentaries. Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University, and a master's degree in education from Harvard University.
Lawrence Johnson, the student representative to the council, is a student at the Metropolitan Center, where he is president of the Black Male Initiative, an innovative peer tutoring program. He is employed as an administrative assistant at Columbia University's School of General Studies.
Patricia E. Salkin is dean of the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. In addition to land use law, her scholarship also focuses on government ethics. She is an appointed member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Environmental Justice Advisory Council and chair of the New York State Bar Association's standing committee on attorneys in public service. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany and earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
Lewis P. Trippett is a partner in the law firm of Higgins & Trippett. Previously, he was director of government relations and a litigation attorney for the former New York Telephone Co. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and his Juris Doctor from New York University.
Daniel Wall is a consultant with CMA in Latham. He is the former commissioner and president of the New York State Department of Civil Service. He remains a member of the Civil Service Commission. Before joining state service, he was an attorney in the law firm of Bee & Eisman on Long Island. Wall earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the SUNY College at Old Westbury and a Juris Doctor from St. John University's School of Law. He holds a certificate of human resource management from Cornell University's School of Labor and Industrial Relations.
Linda Weiss is the director of the Albany Stratton Veteran's Administration Medical Center and its 11 community-based outpatient clinics. She previously served as chief operations officer of the VA Healthcare Network of Upstate New York. She earned an associate degree in radiologic technology from Hudson Valley Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Empire State College's Northeast Center in 1983 and a Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Union College in Schenectady.
