Tanya Scime joined the Office of the President in May 2017 as executive assistant to the president. Prior to her role she was director for the Center for the Assessment of Post-Traditional Instruction, Training and Learning at Excelsior College, where she oversaw the facilitation of the academic evaluation of workplace training and credentialing programs for articulation into degree programs. Additionally, Scime previously served as an executive assistant to the president at Union Graduate College.
She was an invited participant in the Dr. Murray H. Block Center for Leadership Education and Development, 2015-2016 Leadership Academy at Excelsior College. She also has presented and co-presented on topics related to the review of non-collegiate instruction at The National Institute on the Assessment of Adult Learning and Council for Adult Experiential Learning conferences.
Scime earned her Bachelor of Science in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College and her Master of Science in Management from Excelsior College.
She is responsible for assisting and supporting the President. Tanya also reports to the Chief of Staff, and along with him, oversees the daily operations of the President’s Office.
