Website to Update Community on Search for New President

Visitors Asked to Complete Survey

As the search for a new president of Empire State College gets underway, a website linked to the college’s homepage will keep the community abreast of the progress of the search.

The site also contains information about SUNY guidelines for the selection of a president, search committee members, RPA Inc., the search consulting firm, the search plan, a detailed job description for the president, the college prospectus, a nomination form and search updates.

Additionally, visitors to the site are asked to complete a survey about their relationship to and perceptions of the college to assist in identifying which traits and qualifications would be key in a candidate uniquely prepared and compatible with the history, culture and goals of Empire State College.

Mary Caroline Powers, vice president of the college’s Office of Communications and Government Relations, is the college liaison to the committee.
