James Maurino Edits and Contributes Chapters to Two Volumes on Men's Studies and Death and Dying

Niagara Frontier Center mentor Dr. James Maurino is co-editor of "Men, Masculinities and the Common Good in an Era of Economic Uncertainty," a book being published by Men's Studies Press. The book includes a chapter by Maurino entitled, "The Intersection of Masculinity and Unemployment: Does Being Unemployed Affect Masculine Senses of Self?"
A second book chapter by Maurino appears in an edited volume entitled "Unequal Before Death," published by Cambridge Scholars Press and based on research first presented in March 2010 at the Columbia University Conference on Death and Dying. Maurino's chapter is "Current and Future Needs of Racial, Ethnic, and Sexual Minorities and Care In Hospice."
In addition, Maurino will present "Might Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy be a Therapy of Choice for Men?" at the American Men's Studies Association 20th Anniversary Conference in Minneapolis in March
