SUNY Empire State College’s Provost Meg Benke is cited in a new article, “Top Five Degrees for In-Demand Careers,” on the education page of yahoo.net.
The writer, Tony Moton, wrote about how colleges are meeting the needs of students who want to improve their hiring potential; Benke commented on the development of programs for health-care administration.
"Education institutions now do market research, and we don't start a new program unless there is a need," she said.
The extensive article examines the value of online degrees, high-tech education and hot careers that are hiring, with an in-depth look at numerous options students will have after they complete their degree programs.
