The Center for Women in Government & Civil Society, of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany, is recruiting full-time graduate students to apply for the Fellowship on Women & Public Policy.
The fellowship is an intensive leadership-development program designed to promote equity and excellence in public service, and encourage government to be more responsive to the needs of women, children, families and communities in New York state. Participants will be committed to positive social change and to advancing the well-being of all New Yorkers.
Since 1983, the program has prepared public-policy leaders by instilling the knowledge and cultivating the skills needed to become effective advocates and administrators.
The program is based in Albany. A $10,000 stipend plus tuition assistance is available to fellows.
Applications and more information are at www.albany.edu/womeningov.
