“Financial Aid: The Dollars and Sense of Financing a College Education,” a free workshop, will be held from noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, at the college’s Empire State Plaza office, concourse level (next to SEFCU).
Going to college is a big investment of time and money. Laws and regulations regarding financial aid have changed and knowing what kind of funding is available and how to apply for it is critical. Whether going back to school, or sending children off to college, this comprehensive workshop will cover when to apply for grants, scholarships, loans and federal and state aid. The discussion will be conducted by Kristina Delbridge, director of financial aid at Empire State College, and Diane Corbett, director of financial aid at UAlbany.
To register, call 518-473-4034 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be the final workshop of the season.
