The Office of Collegewide Student Services is seeking applications for this year’s ACT for Excellence and Student Initiative Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to reward students for excellence in their academic performance and extraordinary commitment to their campus and/or community.
A student must have a Dean’s List GPA of 3.5 or greater as of the last reporting period in order to be considered. Also, the student must have helped identify a need on the campus or in the community and worked to provide a service or solution to address that need.
This information is for wide and general distribution around centers and units.
To request more information, an application or for general questions, email Danielle.Boardman@esc.edu
Applications are due July 17 at 5 p.m. Both an electronic and original copy with the student's signature is required. Although not required, recommendation letters are encouraged.
Each center can nominate any number of students; once the deadline has passed a committee will convene and select one student, collegewide, to move forward in the selection process.
