The Navy College Education Information

The Navy supports sailors' growing need for higher education while at home or deployed.  Empire State University offers degree programs tailored to meet every changing educational needs of sailors. Empire State University  evaluates the Joint Service Transcript (JST) and attempts to accept every credit into the degree plan.  Our Military Outreach Coordinators will complete, for every sailor, an unofficial evaluated educational plan, which will consider all JST credits.    Every sailor should first contact an education counselor through the Navy before beginning any educational opportunity.

Empire State University is regionally accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, by the Middle State Commission on Higher Education and a DOD signatory which affirms and supports the principles and guidelines of the MOU.
