WITHDRAWAL FORM AND INSTRUCTIONS
Use the form below only after the end of the add/drop period or if unable to access your MyESC.
During registration, late registration and the add/drop period, visit MyESC and click on the Register tab to drop any or all of your studies.
The effective date of the withdrawal is the date faxed or the postmark date.
Your withdrawal and the timing of your withdrawal may have an impact on your:
1. Enrollment status
2. Satisfactory Academic Progress
3. Student account
4. Federal, state and institutional grants, loans, scholarships and third-party sponsorships
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher to download the forms. If Acrobat Reader is not installed on your computer, you can download it from the Adobe's site. If you cannot use Acrobat Reader, contact your center or program for a form, or you may e-mail the Office of Registrar (Registrar’soffice@esc.edu) for further instructions.
 1 IMPACT OF WITHDRAWAL ON ENROLLMENT STATUS
The effective date of the withdrawal may affect the full- or part-time enrollment status of the student. For the purpose of establishing enrollment status, enrolled credits are the number of registered credits after day 28 of the enrollment term.

2 IMPACT OF WITHDRAWAL ON SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS (SAP):
The effective date of a withdrawal also affects the calculation of satisfactory academic progress. For purposes of calculating satisfactory progress, credits attempted is the number of registered credits after day 28 of the enrollment term. Thus, the date of withdrawal affects whether the credits are counted in the number of credits attempted.

3 IMPACT OF WITHDRAWAL ON YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT
The amount of your charges will be credited to your account dependent on the effective date of your withdrawal. The effective date is the date your form is faxed to the Office of the Registrar or the postmark date of your mailed request.

4 IMPACT OF WITHDRAWAL ON YOUR FINANCIAL AID
Withdrawing may impact your federal, state and institutional grants and loans, scholarships and third-party sponsorships for the current term as well as future terms. A withdrawal that results in a change from full- to part-time enrollment status can jeopardize your financial aid eligibility. Following your withdrawal, all of your aid will be recalculated and you may have to return all or part of your aid for this term. Your withdrawal may result in a balance due on your account.
