Reinstatement after Dismissal

  • A student may request reinstatement to the college after academic dismissal. A student is not eligible for reinstatement for at least 16 weeks or one term, whichever is longer.
  • A student must provide written evidence to the dean that s/he is ready and able to maintain good academic standing.
  • If the dean grants a reinstatement request, s/he may establish terms and conditions that promote the future academic success of the student.
  • Students who are academically dismissed for a second time are not eligible for reinstatement.
