Did you know that June is National Dairy Month? National Dairy Month, once called National Milk Month, is an annual tradition developed to celebrate the dairy industry and the many contributions the industry makes to our society. The cooperation between farmers and other community members are really the basis of what June Dairy Month is all about. Did you know that California is the number one dairy producing state in the Nation? New York is the 3rd! Several counties in New York also lead the nation in the Top 100 Dairy Producing Counties in the US including: Wyoming, Cayuga, St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Genesee, Livingston, Onondaga, Lewis, Ontario, and Oneida Counties. Not only does the dairy industry provide us with fun statistics, dairy is also really important for our health and wellness. According to ChooseMyPlate.Gov/Dairy, Women and Men ages 19+ should be having 3 cups of dairy products a day as part of a healthy diet.

*Flu Shot Clinics will be welcome for walk ins. Pre-registration will be emailed out to all students regionally, based on your area, when the events get closer.
