Here’s to the next 50 years!
To help celebrate SUNY Empire State College’s 50th anniversary, we’ve created a mark as a visual reminder of this special milestone. If you use the 50th mark, please follow the rules below.
The versions below are the approved SUNY Empire State College 50th anniversary marks. The marks are not to be modified in any way. The marks will be available for download at the end of this page.
If additional versions are needed (single color, 2 color, black and white), please contact Casey Lumbra (email@example.com), senior creative manager, for assistance.
Let it breathe a bit.
One of the ways to ensure the mark is used appropriately is to make sure there is ample space around it. To do this, use the shield as a measuring tool. There should be a shield’s width/height all around the mark as a no-content buffer.
Some things not to do.
It is important that the mark be used consistently. The mark should not be modified or manipulated for any reason. Its orientation, colors, and composition should remain intact. There are no exceptions.
Here are the rules for using the mark:
Don't change the font.
Don't stretch or squish the mark.
Don't change the color of the logo elements.
Don't place the logo on a photo or background color that limits the contrast.
