Advanced certificate and nondegree opportunities

Do you want to take a course or two? Or do you need a certificate to further your career? SUNY Empire can help you with that.

Advanced Certificates

Add an advanced certificate to your graduate degree to enhance your program and focus your studies on a specific area of interest. These fully online, post-bachelor’s, and post-master's certificates give you an additional credential you can build into your degree program, often with few or no additional classes.

You can take courses with Empire State University even if you’re not pursuing a degree. Nondegree, or nonmatriculated, study is a great way to stay current in your field, earn credit toward a degree at another college or university, improve your skills, or train for employment.
