Frequently Asked Questions for Conference Guests
A guest is anyone who is not a currently matriculated student of Empire State College and will be attending conference meals and sessions with a registered student.
The 2019 Fall Student Conference has a fee of $100 per guest. This fee will cover all scheduled meals, conference materials and session attendance.
Note: The guest fee will be assessed annually, based on the cost of food and the event location.
You can register your guest only after you register yourself for the conference. Guests can be registered through our Online Guest Registration.
Payment, by check, for your guest is due prior to the conference. No payment will be taken during the conference, so please plan accordingly. Checks must be mailed to the Office of Student Life no later than Friday, October 4th, 2019.

You may bring up to two guests per Empire State College student and the guest(s) must be 18 years of age or older.
Your guest must be 18 years of age or older in order to attend any conference events. No persons under the age of 18 will be allowed into any conference related activities.
Please be aware that if you bring someone under the age of 18, you must have proper supervision for that person while you are attending the conference.
All requests for an additional guest need to be made via email to the coordinator of Student Life prior to the conference via StudentLife@esc.edu
A guest is held to the same policies as an Empire State College student. These policies can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog.
If your guest is found in violation of any policy, you and the guest will be asked to leave the conference. You are responsible for your actions as well as the actions of your guests or visitors.
No refunds will be given.
