Census Date for Financial Aid
The financial aid census date is day at Empire State College is day 29 of the standard 15-week term. This means that students who plan to take courses in multiple sessions during the term, must register in all courses for the term (regardless of the session start/end date) before the census date of that term in order for the course(s) to be included in that term award. For example students enrolling for any fall 2024 session (courses starting on or after September 3, 2024 and ending on or before December 13, 2024) must be registered for all courses by October 1, 2024 to maximize aid eligibility. Pell eligibility for the term is fixed on day 29 of each term.
The census date for the 2024-2025 academic calendar is as follows:
- Summer 2024- June 10, 2024
- Fall 2024- October 1, 2024
- Spring 2025- February 10, 2025
The census date for the 2023-2024 academic calendar is as follows:
- Summer 2023- June 12, 2023
- Fall 2023- October 3, 2023
- Spring 2024- February 13, 2024
