Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree with a major in the content area or have a bachelor's degree and 30 credits in the content area.
Acceptable courses include any combination of areas that are included in the field of English Language Arts: literature, poetry, play-writing, film, speech, grammar or linguistics. Two or more of the courses should be upper level courses; applicants should have at least six credits in literature.
