What degree will I be able to earn?

Through Empire State University’s collaboration with Universidad APEC (UNAPEC), you can earn your degree without leaving the Dominican Republic. Degree options include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
  • Bachelor of Science in Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Finance
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in International Business
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Economics

Empire State University fully accredited and part of the State University of New York, the largest public university system in the U.S., recognized internationally for its excellence. The prestigious Bachelor of Science is awarded by the State University of New York (SUNY).

How long will it take to earn my degree?

Empire State University offers several ways for you to earn your degree. The university recognizes the credits you have earned at UNAPEC or other accredited institutions, and applies those credits that qualify toward your degree. You must earn at least 31 credits through Empire State University, usually completed in two to three semesters.

Where will I attend classes?

Empire State University offers you access to the State University of New York degree in the Dominican Republic.  Our international team of professors offer classes in Santo Domingo, at the UNAPEC campus and our innovative approach includes a combination of classroom-based and online instruction.  Our award winning program offers virtual residencies and hybrid learning opportunities allowing you to work with students and faculty from around the world, all without the need for costly travel.
