Inauguration Events Begin Today

As part of the college’s celebratory events for the inauguration of Merodie Hancock, the first webinar in the three-part series, “Three Voices That Shape Our Vision” takes place Thursday, March 6, from 10-11 a.m. EST.

The topic of the webinar is Nelson Mandela’s quote: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” which was selected by Hancock.

Saleem Badat, former Rhodes University, South Africa, vice chancellor and newly appointed program director, International Higher Education and Strategic Projects for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, explores how this idea shapes the vision for nontraditional higher education.
