President Vollendorf Confers SUNY Empire Graduates at University of New York in Prague Ceremony

(Prague, Czech Republic - June 23, 2023) Empire State University graduates were honored during the University of New York in Prague-organized event at Žofín Palace in Prague, Czech Republic. President Lisa Vollendorf conferred undergraduate degrees to 101 international graduates from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, India, Germany, and other countries around the world. Two United States veteran graduates were also recognized at the ceremony.

This event commemorated the 25^th anniversary of SUNY Empire’s partnership with UNYP. The unique educational partnership between Empire State University and University of New York in Prague provides mutual benefits for students — fostering global understanding, opportunities for cultural exchange, knowledge sharing, and career advantages
