Blue needs YOU to vote in #MascotMadness
SUNY's annual Mascot Madness competition is back and Blue is vying for the prize to be SUNY's Mascot Ambassador. Voting begins March 12.
(SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- March 11, 2024) SUNY's Mascot Madness is back! The 11th annual competition brings SUNY mascots head-to-head to find out who fans love most. It's time to vote for everyone's favorite bluebird, Blue!
Last year, Stony Brook University's Wolfie was declared the winner, receiving the title of SUNY's Mascot Ambassador for the second year in a row. This year, 32 mascots are vying for the prize.
In round one, Blue is up against Pawz from Corning Community College.
Voting begins March 12 at 12:00 p.m. Votes are limited to one, per email address, every 12 hours. After you vote, you'll confirm and verify with a captcha verification.
Voting will happen in five rounds with a bracket-style tournament:
Round One: March 12 (12:00 p.m.) – March 15 (3:00 p.m.)
Round Two: March 19 (12:00 p.m.) – March 21 (3:00 p.m.)
Round Three: March 22 (12:00 p.m.) – March 26 (3:00 p.m.)
Semifinals/Final Four: March 27 (12:00 p.m.) – March 29 (3:00 p.m.)
Finals: April 2 (12:00 p.m.) – April 4 (3:00 p.m.)
